Gladiator fights and modern day distractions

Gladiator fights were very violent fights that were held in Ancient Rome in a coliseum. They put gladiators to fight each other until one of them dies .This was the way people use to entertain themselves. The way people entertain themselves today is very similar they love to see a lot of violence. This shows that people don’t change throughout history.

Hellenistic Culture

Macedonia was a kingdom that was North of Greece. King Phillip the second conquered all of Greece. King Philip the second was then stabbed by one of his loyal bodyguards. His son Alexander the Great then takes over. He follows what his father did by conquering Persia, Egypt, and all of the land to India. All the cultures of these lands were combined to make Hellenistic culture.
