George Bush's Mistake

On September 11, 2001 there was a terrorist attack in the United States. This started war in Iraq afterwards. George Bush made a terrible mistake by calling this war a crusade. This brought back feelings of hatred between Christians and Muslims.

Gladiator fights and modern day distractions

Gladiator fights were very violent fights that were held in Ancient Rome in a coliseum. They put gladiators to fight each other until one of them dies .This was the way people use to entertain themselves. The way people entertain themselves today is very similar they love to see a lot of violence. This shows that people don’t change throughout history.

Athens had many years of violence. This made them start to question the world around them. People who ask questions are philosophers. This is what made three famous philosophers who are Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle.
